[ Playtime Perception ]
Playtime Perception merges innovation with an Asian-themed virtual setting, immersing players in a story that blurs the line between reality and illusion. Interaction with the world and a unique character—a little girl with a park replica—prompts players to question truth and knowledge. Rooted in epistemology, it encourages reflection on skepticism and truth. Powered by Unity and Blender, it boasts sophisticated animations and gameplay, offering a deep dive into perception versus reality.

Project Background
In creating Playtime Perception, I embarked on a journey to blend the rich tapestry of Asian culture with a virtual theme park setting, inviting players into a world where the lines between the real and the imagined blur intriguingly. This game became my canvas, where questions of reality, knowledge, and belief converge in the seemingly simple interactions with a mysterious little girl and her miniature park. It's a personal exploration into the realm of epistemology—delving into how we understand truth, justify our beliefs, and navigate the waters of skepticism.
Using Unity and Blender, I crafted this experience from the ground up, infusing the virtual landscape with life through meticulous animation and design. The process was as much about pushing technological boundaries as it was about storytelling, ensuring that every element, from the first-person navigation to the seamless integration of animations, contributed to a cohesive and immersive narrative.
[ Role of Epistemology ]
Epistemology is a branch of philosophy that deals with questions about knowledge, such as how we acquire knowledge and what counts as knowledge. Key terms in epistemology include skepticism, justification, and truth.
Skepticism is the position that it is difficult or impossible to know anything with certainty, while justification refers to the reasons or evidence that support a belief or claim to knowledge.
Truth is generally considered to be a correspondence between a belief or claim and reality, but there are different theories of truth.

First look of the Spinning Cup Noodles
[ Rides Breakdown ]
Spinning Cup Noodles is a whimsical reimagining of the classic spinning teacup ride, tailored to an Asian theme park's aesthetic. Each 'cup' is a vibrant, oversized replica of a cup noodle, inviting guests to sit in and spin around the central piece—a cleverly designed water dispenser.
Taking inspiration from Disney's Magic Carpet and Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Flying Mochi reimagines the thrill of flight with a delightful twist. Riders ascend into the air in carts shaped like soft, colorful mochi, creating a whimsical sense of soaring through a culinary dreamscape. The ride's central feature, a towering matcha parfait, anchors the experience in both theme and taste.
